7 accounts my money lives in

My money lives in many places…

Can you believe I used to hoard all of my money in one location: Bank of America. Now, shout out to BoFA because we’ve been rocking together since I was 14 and I’ve always had a great experience. However, part of #adulting has been learning that it’s OKAY to have my money living in multiple places! So, here are SEVEN places/accounts where our (hubs and I) money is dispersed.

✅ 𝗕𝗮𝗻𝗸 𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗮: 𝙎𝙢𝙖𝙡𝙡 𝘽𝙪𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝘼𝙘𝙘𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙩 - everything related to Marvelous Mirracles, LLC is housed here. I keep this separate to make filing taxes easier and highly recommend this if you have an LLC or are an independent contractor.
✅ 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝘀𝗲: 𝘾𝙝𝙚𝙘𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝘼𝙘𝙘𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙩- Joint checking account with hubs where our paychecks are deposited
✅ 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝘂𝘀 𝗯𝘆 𝗚𝗼𝗹𝗱𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗦𝗮𝗰𝗵𝘀: 𝙃𝙞𝙜𝙝 𝙔𝙞𝙚𝙡𝙙 𝙎𝙖𝙫𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙨 𝘼𝙘𝙘𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙩 - where our (9 month) emergency fund is stashed
✅ 𝗙𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆: 𝙍𝙚𝙩𝙞𝙧𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝘼𝙘𝙘𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙩 - Roth IRA & 401k & future solo 401k
✅ 𝗘-𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲: 𝙏𝙖𝙭𝙖𝙗𝙡𝙚 𝘽𝙧𝙤𝙠𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙜𝙚 𝘼𝙘𝙘𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙩 - technically hubs (but what’s his is mine so now it’s ours lolol)
✅ 𝗗𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁: 𝙋𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙁𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙖𝙥𝙥 - automated money management tool that houses our saving buckets
✅ 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗦𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁 (COMING SOON): We are still in the learning process here but intend on opening one by the end of the year where we will be maxing it out.

So, is this a lot to keep up with? NOPE 🙏🏾 We use the “mint” app and have all of these accounts connected so that we can keep track of what is going where. For my fellow OTs - you know this is #moneymanagement in action 😉🤑
