It's okay to talk about money

It’s okay for 𝙝𝙚𝙖𝙡𝙩𝙝𝙘𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙛𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡𝙨 to talk about money 💰You all already know the motto over here: there is nothing wrong with enjoying what you do, loving your profession, helping people, AND wanting to be paid well to do it.

I talk about money now because for much of my adult life, I didn’t talk about it and I made a lot of mistakes. So yes, I’ve started talking about money but if you listen closely - I’m really not talking about money itself, rather, I’m talking about using money as a tool ➡️ A tool to create the life you deserve, to have the freedom to pursue your passions, to provide for our families, to break generational curses and build generational wealth, to leave a legacy.

I finally have the confidence to speak on something that intimidated me for so long. My attitude towards wealth building, my mindset around money and my relationship with my own finances is finally in a healthy space.

I’m here to normalize these conversations not only within the healthcare community, but in communities of color where we don’t have these discussions nearly enough (𝘢𝘯𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘵𝘰𝘱𝘪𝘤 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘢𝘯𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘥𝘢𝘺!) and while I know it may feel uncomfortable, I encourage you to stick with me because when we talk about money together, we learn, we grow, and we do better 💚✨

P.S. I’ve had a lot of questions since the first ever #MoneyMondayWebinar about if I plan to do anymore, any other resources like it and I just want to assure you, I’m working on a few things behind the scenes 😉 so stay tuned but definitely let me know if there’s anything specific that would be helpful 💸👩🏾‍💻
